The Lowell Housing Authority's Resident Services Department recently hosted a successful backpack giveaway on August 21st. The event, made possible through generous donations from The Wish Project and Community Giving Tree, provided essential school supplies to students living in LHA properties.
The backpack giveaway aimed to ensure that children from low-income families were well-prepared for the upcoming school year. With the rising costs of school supplies, this initiative provided much-needed support to families in the community.
