The Lowell Housing Authority seeks bids from professional landscape companies interested in providing Spring clean out, flower planting and mulching at South Common Village and the Mercier Center Courtyard.
All work must be completed by May 30, 2024.

Site Visit: A visit of each site shall take place on April 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Interested bidders shall meet at the Mercier Center located at 21 Salem Street.

RFP 2024-2 Development Partner

The Lowell Housing Authority (“LHA”, or “the Authority”), in collaboration with its nonprofit development affiliate Revitalization Effort Toward New Urbanism (“RENU”), is requesting both for-profit and nonprofit entities interested in serving as Development Partner for the Merrimack Street Corridor development project to submit proposals for consideration.

The Authority seeks to develop two sites along Merrimack Street in the Acre neighborhood of Lowell, Massachusetts, near LHA central offices and the Mercier Community Center. Both sites are comprised of contiguous parcels owned by LHA or RENU, but each site is located on a discrete city block (“Block 1” and “Block 2”). The sites are vacant of structures.

Briefing Session/Pre-Proposal Site Visit will be held on April 16, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at the Mercier Center, 21 Salem Street, Lowell, MA 01854. Please note that the awarded proposer will have the opportunity to conduct a site visit and in-person discussion with LHA staff directly following the contract award date.

The Lowell Housing Authority (LHA) is selling a vacant  2 unit/1 building within the City of Lowell at 67 W. Fourth Street and is seeking proposals from interested parties.

VIEWINGS
Viewings will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM – 4 PM. Exceptions to this may be granted at LHA’s discretion.
